Class 1 Driver Vacancy

Full-Time Role – 40 Hours per Week + Overtime

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our experienced and hardworking team.

This role is ideally suited to applicants living in, or around the East Riding of Yorkshire as it is based at our yard, just outside Market Weighton. Nights out may be required (night allowance paid). Training can be provided for the right applicant. Salary is negotiable, dependent upon experience. Overtime is payable after 40 hours per week and a pension scheme is available.

The Role

Permanent full time position
Provided with your own modern Scania
Mainly walking floor work delivering wood chip and firewood logs
Low loader work moving our own machines
Occasional external load work
Accurate completion of daily defect checks and delivery paperwork

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence (with less than 6 penalty points).
Valid UK CPC Card and Tachograph Card.
Reliable and safe driver that can handle vehicles and trailers carefully.
Willing to undertake off road work in forest locations.
Flexible outlook, friendly personality and a smart appearance.
Able to work effectively on their own and as part of our professional forestry team.
Ideally experience driving a loader as it may be necessary to self-load on occasion.

360° Machine Operator Vacancy

Full-Time Role – 40 Hours per Week + Overtime

Self-Employed Basis Considered for the Right Candidate

Salary Dependent on Experience

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated 360° Machine Operator to join our experienced and hardworking team.

The successful candidate will primarily operate a 360° excavator fitted with a tilt rotator, carrying out forestry and site clearance work across a variety of sites. The role will also include occasional tractor driving and general yard duties, with opportunities to operate additional forestry machinery. Most work is based throughout Yorkshire and the Midlands, with occasional travel to other areas of mainland UK. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in machinery and a positive attitude towards working in a highly mechanised environment.
